Anywho some of you may know that I released some music as "Make Tape Sounds" or "Tape Sounds" in the past. It's been a minute since I've released any material under that moniker, but I have a new record, "Yule Mutate," out on March 14th.
The project was made primarily from heavily resampling a bunch of old christmas-mixtapes I found in my parents' house closet. I ran all of the stuff through samplers and tons of guitar pedals / fx. I feel like what came out was this sort of "inverted christmas music," like some strange Pagan Hypnogogic Trip Hop. Here's a tune from the project, "Yule Mutiding"
