Got my hands on the original vector images for some of the stickers. Decided to make a profile pic of my favorite one.

Sadly, I fear I can't share these for fear of copyright reasons but here's some proof. Adobe Illustrator 7 was made in 1997.

Good choice! Very in keeping, may I ask what your previous avatar was about. The one with the moggy/cat, that was quite good. :)

For my previous avatar, it was my cat passed through some filter. I usually use pictures of my cats for placeholders, I didn't really intend for it to be permanent, and I prefer this.

Any post is made better if imagined being said by a judgemental cat.

My avatar is my life-long friend Patrick playing music (saves the day most likely) for a horse. Pat passed away a few years back and this was always my favorite photo of him.

1993, apparently. I'll see if I can find the image actually.

Okey-dokey, Happy New Year twoism!

A new year means a new avatar.
So I present to you the latest incarnation of Great Uncle Harry (on the right) :D
This one is him with comedy performer Alec (on the left) it’s yet another colorised photo, but I think the AI software has done it some justice!

Anyway....enjoy the theatrical farce of a before and after!

The original picture didn't fit well with the color scheme of the site, so now it's BoC themed, kinda :| . Also, I found out that you can make animated gifs in GIMP.

New avatar, same old Orbited!

I'm definitely going to keep this for a while. It's a illustration by a small time twitter artiste that you should definitely check out. Great Art style.

Mine is a paper collage by an artist called David Thorpe, which I first noticed when it was used as the cover of the Engineers' mini-album 'Folly'.
As an image it speaks to me of a Modernist utopia.

My current pfp is a simple photoshop of the boc pioneer plaque, with the man's head swapped with the hexagon. I just did that for a laugh on this site.

But my avatar before this, and the one that I mainly everywhere else, is a picture of me that's been run through several AI programs until it became an uncanny, exaggerated approximation of my face.
Image

I also have several variations and iterations of it, sent through even more AI.

Like this one (sorry for the small size), where I gave it horrific smile :)
Image
This was done by continually sending it through an AI that makes people's smiles larger (the very same AI that's responsible for the jermaSUS face), and then taking each image and using another AI tool to string them together into an animation. No clue why he gets more green though...

I have so many more though: one where I made him a kid, one he's an old man, another he's merged with the faces of other people, etc. etc. etc...

An old project that turned into a personal interpretation of the goddess Eris.

Mine is of a sign I painted in the woods to protect my herd of goats. Just hear me out.
I raised goats for years, and at the time I had them tucked away in a remote wooded area where nobody would ever come across them. I am a very cautious and private person, despite my activity on this forum as of late.

At a certain point I noticed tracks of other animals, mainly hunting dogs and humans, that really bothered me, because the land was private.
So, being in a very religious area I painted a bunch of random "evil, Satanic, devil-worship" shit on signs and hanged them very high in trees in order to freak out whoever was messing with my goats.
There were many signs, mostly with Latin words and phrases, such as "Horned God","Capra", "Do not let your head explode trying to understand this sign", and "Sixtyten" (my favorite because it's so utterly confusing to anyone but a BOC fan).

It worked. People thought something demonic was going on. Nobody messed with my goats after that.

This is the only image I could find of one of those signs. That's my avatar.
