The mindbending marriage of shoegaze and electronica that goes by the name of Play By Numbers doesn't exist.

Boc Maxima wav files have been floating about for many years now, usually bundled as two files 'side A' & 'side B'. The tape hiss extends cleanly into the 22kHz range

Valotonin wrote:CD90s can actually be reasonably high quality after twenty years if they are preserved properly and not played all that much (magnets in the play head gradually change the polarity of the oxide film for those that don't know). Looking at the cases etc these seem to have been mostly untouched in that time. The CD90s I use can be recorded over more than any other type of standard cassette in my possession without decaying which is kind of a testament to their ability to avoid decay, although I don't own any DAT or higher end Cr02 tapes to compare. As far as Ferric Oxide tapes go, CD90s are really quite time-proof but only if taken care of as stated before.
I will do my best be a good boy from now. I only joined Twoism to talk about magnetic tape anyway.
