I have been working on an audio visual project. Its meant to be a nasty alternate 70/80s reality, heavily influenced by BoC, the KLF, Chris Morris and all manner of odd stuff. Its probably hit and miss, but if anyone fancies a look:

https://youtube.com/channel/UCua62LIxyAJKrvwzWm4qbDw

It’s still nascent, but thought Id share if anyone is good enough to want to give some feedback.

The next step is to do some more CRT requiem videos and tracks, and to work out how to score and animate those evil 70s Puffin paperbacks...

[edit: in the doubtful case anyone does listen, please dont crucify me for the sound quality. My mission in May was to do one original track a day and leave it as is, mainly as an exercise in getting stuff done. Hence, it is what it is, but I am happy with the punk results, albeit variable]

This time I'm working on something special. It's not music neither photography or some other arts. I'm trying to finally read and understand Simulacra and Simulation by Jean Baudrillard. I'm a huge huge fan of the matrix and the book is referenced in the matrix. The author said the Wachowskis misunderstood his work when making the matrix so I thought interesting to see for myself what this book is about.

This is a challenge for me because I have severe ADHD and I'm a slightly uneducated high school dropout.

Not going to lie, it took me a good hour to understand the first 2 pages and I might spend another hour on it to make sure I fully grasp everything as to not end up confused and lost 3 pages down in the book

good luck!
when i was in my first year of highschool my teacher told me i should try to read nietzsche. I saved my lunch money for some days and then bought an ebook with the original translation. I spent about a week trying to understand the first 5 pages and then gave up :I

I'm totally with you on that, reading can be incredibly difficult. I often have to concentrate on every single word if I want to understand a difficult text and that slows down my reading speed, and my motivation.

Was it Also Sprach Zarathustra, kakanara? I tried that one as well. Got about 20 pages...

It's just a demo, about to mix this properly. Sampled a song off a mixtape, no idea who made it. Anyone knows what is it?

Just uploaded a new track. It was an utter bastard to finish, as I spent more time trying to fix eq and mix the beast, than the initial process of making it. Would be interested to know how others deal with such issues, as its a sinkhole. Fix one thing and damage another thing. Oh well. It is still savagely amateur in places, but life is short and may as well fire and forget...

Anyhow, just sharing, if anyone fancies a lovely heartwarming song/video with a minor bit of mild accompaniement by the combined talents of Synanon, Zendik, Manson and the Peoples Temple Choir...

I hope your reading project is going alright. Thats an excellent book, and fairly digestible as philosophy goes. And dont worry about taking your time, as theres loads to digest.

Made this track some time ago, decided to upload it now.
All sounds except the guitar are from my E-MU Ultra, will never sell that thing.

Not sure if I'd be better off making a thread about my stuff and the collective I'm part of, but to test the waters, here's a single I put out recently. If track 1 is too slow for you, skip ahead and you might enjoy the drums and stuff on track 2.

weird, it appears my first response was deleted but came back to say I really dig this stuff ^ the atmosphere and sound is very unique and I haven't heard much like it.

Recently I posted a teaser for impending new tunes:

At first I thought it was going to be JX - son of a gun....
The whispery vocal conirmed it isn't...
Nice track all the same Moz
